Items that may have missed your wedding checklist

Have you made a wedding checklist yet?

Here are some ideas that you may add to your checklist.

Floss, mints/gum, deodorant

On your wedding day, you will be surrounded by family and friends for many hours, weddings generally start with a ceremony around 11 am - 2 pm and then the reception at 6-7 pm and finishing at midnight. Some guests won’t get a chance to go home and freshen up, so it a nice touch to have some floss, mints and deodorant around so guests can help themselves.

Song request list Spotify

A great way to put together a playlist is to start one on Spotify and share the link with your guests to they can add tracks they like to it. This ensures that the music on the night represents you and your guests’ music choice. This requests list can then be forwarded to your DJ.

Make a hashtag

There will be many people taking photos of your wedding and a great way to share and view everyone’s photos is to create a hashtag for your wedding. This is also a great way for you to share your wedding photos with guests who aren’t able to attend your wedding.

Map with your invite

Having a map with your wedding invites lets your guests know where to park, where the ceremony will be held and where the reception will be. This will reduce guests being lost, late and from calling you and potentially interrupting your wedding.

Dancing flats for guests

High heels can be uncomfortable to dance in especially after a long day so a nice thoughtful idea is a have some disposable dancing flats for guests to dance in if their feet are hurting or they can use them at the end of the night when they leave.

Colouring books for kids

Having colouring books at your reception is a great way to entertain kids. It is also a great way to keep them silent during speeches and other formalities.
